Transportation

We will finally meet you distinguished participants in Antalya. For your convenience,please keep the information below for the last step of your travel (Antalya airport to the conference hote, Queen Elizabeth).

The conference hotel "Queen Elizabeth" is located in the Goynuk-KEMER, which is on the west cost of the city of Antalya. The distance between the hotel and the Antalya airport is 40km, to the city center of Antalya 30km, and another 10 km to Goynuk-KEMER.

Please be aware there are regular bus services (shuttle bus services) between the airport and Antalya city center, called as HAVAS, which is the cheapest private bus service for transportation that we strongly recommend for you. Taxi cab might be much more expensive since the distance is almost 40 km.

If you prefer to take HAVAS instead of taxi that rides you directly to the Queen Elizabeth, you need to change HAVAS to local minibuses (called DOLMUS) in Antalya inter-city bus terminal.

Take the HAVAS at the Antalya and get off the bus at the Antalya intercity bus terminal (around 4.5 Euro), at which you need to have DOLMU?to the Goynuk-KEMER around 2.5 Euro). Please tell the minibus driver that you need to step out in the GOYNUK and please avoid the express ride directly to Kemer with no bus stop in the GOYNUK. You are kindly asked to take one that stops by GOYNUK, where the "Queen Elizabeth" is situated. Total cost of this ride is around 7 Euro.

The Queen Elizabeth is in the Town Center of GOYNUK and the both DOLMUS stops in the front of the conference hotel. Please do not forget the terms of HAVAS, DOLMUS and GOYNUK, which surely help you a lot to get to the conference hotel (Queen Elizabeth) with no any problem.

Another way to get to the conference hotel (Queen Elizabeth) from the Antalya airport is to register in advance for round trip shuttle bus through web-site or secretariat. This option is for taking you from the Antalya airport to the hotel when you arrive and from the hotel to the airport when you depart. Total cost of this ride is 25 Euro and needs you to notify your flight details to the secretary of the AgroEnviron2008 (turgay@agri.ankara.edu.tr)

Here we are counting down and getting much closer to Agroenviron2008 Turkey and have very short time to excitedly see you in Antalya. Considering difficulties you face up with during the online payment and wire transfer, local organization committee of Agroenviron2008 have decided to open on-site registration to you distinguished participants upon many requests we received from you. You are now very welcome to register after your arrival in Antalya.  

On the other hand, we have still in a need to know your definitive intention for come-in since our bounding set-up with the conference hotel (the Queen Elizabeth) is that one month in advance we are obligated to inform the hotel management regarding how many participant would stay in the hotel.  

 

 

In this regard we would like to kindly ask you send us an e-mail message stating you would pay the accomodation when you are in. This could really ease us to convince the hotel you are incoming.

 

Please give us a notification  until "7 of APRIL" by e-mailing following addresses so that we could do pre-reservation for you with the hotel.

We would like to inform you that the deadline for full paper submission has been extended to 17 of March. 

We will soon initiate the proceeding preparation and will have certain expenditures during publication. In this regard, we would like to remind you colleagues to pay registration fee before submitting your full papers. We are sorry to tell you that we will not be able to include a submission to proceeding without paying at least registration fee. Our due date for the registration payment is also 17 March.

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you very much for your interest in the AgroEnviron2008 - Antalya Meeting. During abstract submission period, we have already received over 250 abstracts and sent their acceptance-invitation letters to the authors after a quick reviewing process of the abstracts. You would please note that we will soon end the abstract evaluation and will not be accepting a new abstract from 4th of February on. Due to our limited time left for printing-editing process of the proceeding, we will soon initiate framing both the proceeding and the scientific program of the AgroEnviron2008. Once more we would like to remind you that only the participants who paid at least registration fee would be included in the proceeding of the AgroEnviron2008. Therefore, we kindly request you  pay your registration fee and send your full papers according to the time schedule outlined in our web pages. This will enable us continue in set of actions that the program of AgroEnviron2008 requires.
